Our Current Projects

Establishing Parkinson's Education Clubs around the world.

World Parkinson’s Program announces starting Parkinson’s Education Clubs around the World. With the help of Parkinson’s Education Clubs, patients will get a chance to talk about their life experiences and ways of coping with day-to-day difficulties with other individuals who may have a similar experience.World Parkinson’s Program will provide educational lectures, brochures and CDs as well as informational literature on the various aspects of Parkinson’s in the local languages.  The World Parkinson’s Program aims to establish its educational clubs in all major cities around the world. World Parkinson’s Program is the first global organization to initiate the Parkinson’s Education Clubs with a similar theme in all parts of world. This will be a major breakthrough in the history of Parkinson’s disease at the global level.

A Parkinson’s Education Club can be started by any healthcare worker or institution, Parkinson’s volunteer or student who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of those affected with Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s Education Clubs will provide a platform for the Parkinson’s patients, caregivers and the community to share, discuss and find ways to cope with Parkinson’s disease.

The participants of meeting of Parkinson’s Education Club will benefit from the mutual support from their peers and there will be opportunities to help others from one’s own personal experience about the Parkinson’s disease. Establishing the Parkinson’s Education Clubs at a global level were the vision of Dr. Rana, the founder of World Parkinson’s Program, who saw them as a “global need of those dealing with Parkinson’s”. Volunteer individuals who would like to open an educational club of World Parkinson's Program should contact the Central Executive Committee of the World Parkinson's Program expressing their interest by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. Global Parkinson's Education Campaigns:

We conduct a Parkinson's disease Education Campaign every month in a different continent, region or country around the world and provide Parkinson’s disease brochures, handbooks, CDs, and other educational material as well as useful information through social media in various languages for different communities in that part of the world free of charge. We divide the various regions of the world in need of our Parkinson's Education Campaign as below,

-Central and Northern Asian countries

-Western Asian and Middle Eastern countries

-South Asian countries

-East and Southeastern Asian countries

-Western and Northern African countries

-Central African Countries

-South and Eastern African countries

-Central, South and Eastern European countries

- Western and Northern European countries

-North American countries

-South and Central American countries

- Australia and Oceanian region countries

We prefer to run Parkinson's Education Campaign in any give month in regions with same language. By learning information about their medical condition patients are better able to manage their disease. There are many patients in the developed as well as under developed countries who don't have access to proper information about Parkinson's disease in their native language and we aim to address this need.

 Free Parkinson's Clinics Project:

We aim to conduct FREE PARKINSON'S CLINICS  for patients who can't afford to pay for the medical treatment including consulting a neurologist, buying medications, and other healthcare supplies or  services. These clinics will be conducted in all parts of the world, particularly in the underdeveloped countries to  improve access of Parkinson's patients to medical care. We strongly encourage local neurologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists and exercise trainers to  join this initiative, volunteer some of their time or  services to help Parkinson's patients and contact us so that these clinics can be arranged in their respective countries.

Walkers, Canes and other healthcare supplies  Project:

We aim to distribute Walkers, Canes, Wheelchairs to Parkinson's patients with balance problems who are at risk of falling and can not afford these walking devices. Our Fall Prevention Campaign aims to prevent Parkinson’s sufferers from falling by educating them, and providing these supplies.

We also aim to distribute electric tooth brushes to those Parkinson's patients who have difficulty brushing their teeth using manual tooth brush because of difficulty with motor tasks and poor hand-mouth coordination and can not afford to buy them.

We aim to provide heating pads to those Parkinson’s patients suffering from pain who can’t afford them. Pain is one of the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease which can have a very negative impact on the quality of life of these patients.
